Abound Solar Partners with DW Europe in Solar Distributorship Contract
Loveland, Colo. (April 28, 2011) – Abound Solar, Inc., a leading manufacturer of cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic solar modules, announced a partnership and distributorship with DW Europe, a leading commercial solar and BIPV system integrator in Italy. The companies will work together to install solutions based on Abound Solar’s next-generation thin-film modules on commercially scaled projects.
Abound Solar, based in Colorado, United States, recently closed a $400 million loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to fund the expansion of the company’s manufacturing capacity that will soon be the largest manufacturing facility in the U. S. This ramp in capacity will help cater to the demand for its solar products in Italy, Germany, India and North America, and spur new growth in employment.
